Nick Heibein serves as the Global Operations Officer for the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) account in Toronto, Ontario. In this capacity, Nick’s core focus is on establishing and maintaining consistent and optimal Account Operations across Service Lines and Global Regions. Nick is particularly skilled in fostering collaborative client partnerships, cultivating highly engaged and talented teams, and co-creating targeted real estate strategies that align with client objectives. In his current role, Nick also assumes the responsibility of overseeing Account Management and Leadership matters when the Global Account Executive is not available.
Nick joined JLL in November of 2015, and has held several leadership roles within the Project and Development Services (PDS) team for the RBC account, first as the Global PMO Lead and followed by Retail Projects Lead. During his time with PDS, Nick focused on RBC’s goal of ‘faster to market’ construction projects, exploring and implementing process improvements and innovations which increase value to the client and JLL team.
Prior to joining JLL, Nick was the Associate Director of Facilities Business Intelligence at Humber College in Toronto serving 27,000 students. In the Capital Development and Facilities Management department, his areas of focus included: process improvement/modernization, business intelligence, help desk, finance and communications. Before joining Humber, Nick spent over 5 years with Infrastructure Ontario, a Crown agency of the Province of Ontario, that manages one of the largest real estate portfolios in Canada. Throughout this time, Nick held various progressive roles in project management and client relationships, ensuring adequate special purpose real estate was available to efficiently deliver essential Government programs.
Nick has his Bachelor of Applied Technology, with a focus on Architecture, Project and Facility Management, from Conestoga ITAL. Nick is a Past President of the Toronto Chapter of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA), past Chair of IFMA’s Global Young Professional Group and currently on Leadership Council for CoreNet Canada. Nick is a Facility Management Professional (FMP), has his Masters of Corporate Real Estate (MCR), and is certified in Leading Strategic Growth through Columbia’s Business School.
