I believe this agreement sets a new standard for collaborating with regional FM associations around the world.” DFM will become an IFMA Global Training Affiliate (GTA) for IFMA’s globally recognized and industry-respected credential programs – Facility Management Professional™ (FMP®), Sustainability Facility Professional® (SFP®) and Certified Facility Manager® (CFM®). As a GTA, DFM can offer FM’s local courses taught by IFMA Qualified Instructors. The cooperative partnership will also magnify IFMA’s Workplace Evolutionaries (WE) Community Denmark Hub, offering distinct advantages to local members. The WE community connects multidisciplined professionals worldwide to focus on topics key to workplace evolution and transformation. With its knowledge of the local market, DFM will manage WE’s Denmark Hub, which includes hosting annual membership meetings and managing membership communications based on WE input. “Through our collaboration with IFMA, we will offer our members a broader international perspective on facility management,” said DFM President Laura Lindahl. DFM members will receive a limited IFMA membership, which includes access to online publications such as IFMA’s FMJ Magazine, the association’s online Knowledge Library, two members-only e-newsletters, discounted event pricing, networking opportunities with IFMA European chapters and more. IFMA EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Director Lara Paemen will serve as liaison between the two organizations.
