Yes. You can join IFMA in multiple ways.
First-year Professional and Associate Membership starts at US$239, plus the cost of a chapter, council or community. First-year Young Professional Membership starts at US$149, plus the cost of a chapter, council or community. Discovery membership is US$49 with limited benefits. Full Members (Professional, Association and Young Professional) must join a chapter, council or community for their first year of membership. Full members – Professionals, Associates, Young Professionals, Students and Retired Professionals – are eligible to join chapters, councils and communities. Chapters connect members in a given geographical area. Councils connect members who practice FM in similar industry sectors or facility types. Communities connect members who share an interest in a particular FM topic, regardless of location or industry. Learn more

In order to best serve the wider built environment, membership rates may vary based on location. Those in between jobs, active-duty military and first-year civilians receive a reduced base rate of US$100. Full-time students, retired FMs, military veterans and employees of CSPs are also eligible for discounted rates. IFMA also offers group discounts. Yes! If you make the change mid-year, you will receive a $49 credit toward your first 12 months of Professional, Associate or Young Professional membership. To upgrade, contact the membership team or log in to your account on my.ifma.org. Navigate to https://my.ifma.org/individualmemberjoin/ and add your new membership type.
